Supposedly mother & daughter and seem to enjoy each other's company but don't know that they need to stay together. Both spayed and up to date on vaccines. They are on heartworm preventative and have had a flea treatment applied (for precaution). Asking for a $200 adoption fee for each dog to help cover the vet care they received and hopefully secure a forever home. This fee is negotiable to the right people and will be reduced if they find a home together. I have always been taught that an animal given away for free is more likely to be treated poorly, but of course I know there are any caring people in the world who would treat them like they paid much more.
Bambi is a chihuahua (dachshund?) mix and runs about 10#. She is black & tan and about 2 years old roughly. She is a moderate energy dog and LOVES kids so would be a perfect family dog. She is very sweet and loves to lay on the couch and watch TV or sit in your lap. Her short legs don't slow her down and she would also be perfect for someone who jogs or rides a bike a lot. She is wonderful with other dogs and gets along with cats too. She is crate trained and LOVES things to hew on such as rawhide.

Next, is Chica. She is Bambi's daughter and was born around Dec 1st, 2009. She is about 10# also and is tan in color. She has a little longer hair on her ears and tail but is otherwise very similar to Bambi. She is a little more shy but quickly warms up and would probably do fine with kids too as she has not been nippy since being with me. She does wonderful with other dogs and likes cats too. She is crate trained and more of a lap dog than her mom.
